When a child is diagnosed with cancer or a blood disease, the entire family is affected. Lainie's Angels is dedicated to making those families' lives just a little bit easier.
We offer guidance, comfort and peer support to the parents of afflicted children by bringing parents who have been through this ordeal together with the families of those recently diagnosed. Through the creation of a national network of Parent Advocates, or "angels," we will reach out to the more than 50,000 families currently struggling with a child's cancer or blood disorder, and deliver a simple, but vitally important message: we know how you feel; we've been there.
We work very hard to ensure that every dollar we raise works directly towards the well-being of parents and children thrown into an uncertain and difficult situation.
Your donation to Lainie's Angels will help us provide an angel for families of afflicted children, to serve as a mentor and guide along the road ahead. Contributions also help us expand our program into additional pediatric healthcare institutions, and provide funding for our ongoing education and awareness efforts.
